Poster Process

Below are three edits of my poster as I feel I need to do more to make it the final perfect poster.
As you can see I have stuck to the costume and band ideology of black, red and leopard. I have used the band logo to help me create this poster with using the diamonds as a border to add to the glamorous effect. I have added the record label as well as the DVD logo because of the digipack containing a DVD.
To improve this poster I need to make "NO SCRUBS" stand out more maybe by giving it a white border. Furthemore, in white as it stands out I need to add the message of a Bonus DVD being included as this poster is advertising the digipack.

Process of making my poster

Here are a few screen shots of making my poster on Photoshop. I have used techniques such as layering and using the enhancement on the photos as well as keeping to the girl band ideology.

To Do:

We have three weeks up until the deadline and in this time we need to make sure we edit in what we need to in our video including more groups shots and more cuts in the dance performance. Secondly, I need to make sure my poster and digipack is done. My poster had finished however, I feel it can be improved. Although I will make sure I finish my digipack before making final perfections.

Above is a slide show that we presented to our class of our first edit of our music video as well as our drafts of a poster and digipack. As you can see our poster and digipack link in with the bands ideology which is what we were aiming for.

Screen Shots

Here are a few screen shots from editing. It includes the static shots we are using at the beginning however, we would like an effect where it flashes instead of a cut from each one.
Secondly, footage from the studio which looks really good with the black and red lipstick standing out from the white background.
Lastly, the limousine where we add the transition of beth fading in and out on her words.

Editing

The only decent footage we filmed was of Beth so we started editing it in the sequence. On one part where the limousine appears we decided to use a transition so Beth fades in and out. It adds to the effect off the slow pace of this certain part and looks very glamorous also.

Filming postponed

We did film on the first day back however we did not get all the footage we set out to. Therefore, we have to film again this week and make sure we film it perfectly. As we have not started our digipacks yet we have to get decent photos for these also. The footage we need to get is solo as well as the performance. It is taking longer than we thought it would.
